Relocation Preparation Specialist 

The Relocation Preparation Specialist supports the Project Manager in all aspects of a client’s moving or transition project. This role is hands-on and client-facing, providing expert assistance with packing, sorting, organizing, and inventory management while ensuring the highest level of care, discretion, and service expected of Naples Move Managers. 

The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a passion for organization, and the ability to work in a professional, luxury home environment. This position also requires attentiveness to client well-being—especially when serving senior living communities and memory-care clients—ensuring that every action supports safety, dignity, and peace of mind. 

Key Responsibilities 

·     Assist the Project Manager in executing move plans according to schedule and company standards. 

·     Follow directions for packing, sorting, labeling, and inventorying client belongings. 

·     Provide on-site support during move preparation, moving days, and home setup/staging. 

·     Handle and store all packing materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper organization before and

after use to maintain a hazard-free environment. 

·     Maintain consistent, professional communication with both clients and team members. 

·     Packing, Sorting & Organization 

·     Safely pack and label household goods, artwork, accessories, and personal items. 

·     Sort and organize belongings by room, category, or destination (keep, donate, consign, etc.). 

·     Track inventory and assist with photo documentation as directed by the project manager. 

·     Handle fragile and high-value items with exceptional care and attention to detail. 

·     Keep all work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free to support safety and efficiency. 

Client Safety & Senior Living Support 

·     Prioritize client safety and well-being throughout all phases of the move, with special attention to

protocols in senior living and memory-care settings.

·     Follow all senior living community policies, health protocols, and safety standards. 

·     Maintain a calm, compassionate presence when interacting with elderly or vulnerable clients. 

·     Assist clients in a manner that prioritizes comfort, dignity, and reduced stress during transitions. 

·     For Alzheimer’s and memory-care clients, use detailed unpacking procedures that replicate familiar

room setups and ensure items are placed exactly as packed & photographed for continuity & comfort. 

·     Contribute creative ideas for layout, flow, and visual presentation of spaces. 

·     Assist in preparing homes or residences for client walkthroughs, photography, or staging. 

·     Collaborate with project managers, designers, and vendors to achieve an elegant final presentation that

reflects the NMM brand. 

Physical Requirements

·     Must be able to lift, carry, and move boxes or supplies up to 25 lbs. 

·     Ability to stand and move for extended periods during project hours. 

·     Maintain a professional, polished appearance and respectful, positive demeanor. 

Qualifications 

·     Experience in moving support, home organization, staging, or hospitality preferred. 

·     Compassionate understanding of senior living, memory care, and client sensitivity needs. 

·     Strong attention to detail and commitment to client safety and confidentiality. 

·     Excellent teamwork, listening, and communication skills. 

·     Dependable, punctual, and professional in all interactions

Relocation Preparation Specialist Compensation

·     Training is 10 hours at $15 per hour 

·     After training is complete, the rate is $17 per hour 

·     A 90-day review is conducted, then $19 per hour 

· An additional 90-day review is conducted, then $21 per hour
