Overview
We are looking for a friendly, self motivated person with a positive attitude that loves people and their pets. Willingness to learn about holistic choices for pets and help educate our customers on healthy choices. Primary job will be food prep with ability to check out customers in the retail store. Must be able lift up to 60 lbs. The job is Thursday through Mondays with optional Sundays for festivals or farmer's markets. Must have reliable transportation and have good English skills. We are drug and alcohol free work place.

Responsibilities
- Food preparation of pet treats and cakes using commercial grade equipment including slicing, food processors, oven and dehydrators.
- Packaging, labelling, stocking and inventory duties.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate (Square POS) the cash register and handle transactions accurately (will train).
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Demonstrate products and promote sales through effective merchandising techniques.
- Cleaning and sanitization of equipment and retail space as needed.
- Communicate with team members to ensure a smooth retail operation.
- Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations and inventory management.
- Must be able to take direction and work with others easily.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 32 per week
