Responsibilities:
- Support development Engineers on various projects by ensuring adherence to process, regularly meeting with each development team, following up to track/close open items, maintaining specifications and preparing weekly status reports for management.
- Facilitate project development meetings, record action items and follow-up to ensure completion.
- Track projects against development checklist including cross functional support.
- Prepare weekly status reports identifying progress against key milestones and risks.
- Manage new product beta programs including customer outreach.
- Track/support compliance certifications for FCC, ETL, UL, CSFM, NYC.
- Assist with pre-ordering new components for new products.
- Create new product and critical product notifications.
- Maintain product specifications.
- Maintain product documentation library.
- Coordinate factory builds of Engineering prototypes.
Requirements:
- BSEE or BSET or equivalent experience.
- Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering background.
- Competence with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint - strong computer skills.
- Extremely detailed oriented coupled with phenomenal follow-up skills.
- Ability to distill and document action items from meeting discussions.
- Strong work ethic - self-starter.
- Ability to creatively solve problems and remove roadblocks.
- Ability to work with a team to create and maintain a product specification.
- Budgeting and cost tracking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
