Napali Brewing Company is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations at our Kaua‘i-based craft brewery and taproom. We are looking for a strong, hands-on leader with proven restaurant, hospitality, brewery, or beverage management experience who can support our team, uphold high service standards, and help drive the continued growth of the business.
The General Manager will oversee front-of-house operations, staff leadership, scheduling, customer experience, inventory coordination, vendor communication, basic financial controls, and overall operational execution. This role requires someone who is organized, accountable, calm under pressure, and comfortable leading a busy team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Ideal candidates will have prior management experience, strong communication skills, working knowledge of labor and service standards, and the ability to create a positive, professional workplace culture. Experience with Toast, scheduling systems, inventory, events, craft beer, or brewery operations is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Managing daily taproom and restaurant operations
Leading, training, scheduling, and supporting staff
Maintaining excellent guest service and hospitality standards
Overseeing labor, inventory, cash handling, and operational systems
Supporting events, wholesale, and brewery-related business needs
Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, safety, and alcohol service requirements
Reporting regularly to ownership on staffing, sales, issues, and opportunities
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in restaurant, hospitality, brewery, or beverage operations
Strong leadership and staff management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
Experience managing schedules, labor, inventory, and service standards
Comfortable with accountability, follow-through, and fast-paced operations
Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Craft beer or brewery experience preferred
Must have an understanding of the local culture
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
