What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Parts Counterperson position at NAPA Auto Parts?
Our key to serving the community begins with our Retail Counterperson by showing excellent customer service, positive attitudes, and a willingness to learn. Let us teach you all about our “Know How”; it’s the reason our customers continue to come back. We depend on our Counter Sales team to exemplify our commitment to quality, and service. We do NOT require extensive knowledge about auto parts; we want those who are eager to learn about all things automotive.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Customer focus as you assist them in their questions and needs
- Helping team members when working with customers
- Using inventory, catalogue, and POS systems
- Learning about the always changing world of automotive
- Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude as well as professional conduct
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Parts experience a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Positive attitude and professional conduct
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to attend work daily
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds
- Must be able to pass a background test
- Must be willing to work weekends
