White Elephant Resorts is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Front Desk Agent for the 2026 summer season to check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently.
Overnight Shift from 11pm - 7am
Responsibilities include:
- Process all payments according to established hotel requirements
- Provide information and assistance all guests and visitors throughout the shift
- Meet with Supervisor to review nightly assignments and priorities
- Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette
- Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Front Desk
- Confirm reservation in system and review all noted information
- For guests without a reservation, sell a room type agreed upon
- Register guest in the computer and generate a registration card
- Communicate services and amenities of the hotel to guests
- Accommodate room changes
- Handle requests for late check-outs
Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
