NYC Sales Trainee

TITLE: Sales Trainee – New York City

OBJECTIVE: To train and develop Sales skills related to recreational Cannabis in the New York Metropolitan Area. Ultimately build the necessary skills to ensure the successful sales, distribution and retail execution of Nanticoke’s portfolio and related programs, resulting in the overall revenue and volume growth of all accounts within the assigned territory

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Develop exceptional rapport with assigned customer base and maintain effective customer relations

· Ensure that all products are rotated and code policy is followed

· Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS - Organize and execute placement of POS at all accounts

· Proper merchandising and regular updating of display buds, product line and in store displays

· Sales route coverage as assigned

· Responsible for complete understanding and adherence to New York State Office of Cannabis Management regulations and compliance standards

· Conduct promotions and “Pop-Ups” in accounts on a regular basis

· Develop new accounts and new points of distribution

· Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries as they arise

· Serve as a delivery backup in NYC Metropolitan area

· Execute monthly goals as related to business activities

· Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned territory

· Develop and maintain effective customer relations

· Successful sale, distribution and placement of products

· Possess a highly competitive sales approach and passion for the Cannabis industry

· Effective accounts receivable collections within corporate credit policy

· Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis in marketing, sales and management or equivalent experience

· High level product knowledge

· Excellent oral and written communications skills

· Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance and working vehicle

· Ability and willingness to work independently

· Ability to facilitate deliveries as needed

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
