Job Description:
Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Responsibilities:
- Meet physical and sensory requirements.
- Provide personal care of residents daily and as needed.
- Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
- Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse.
- Participate in collecting data needed for accurate completion of MDS and plan of care.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills.
- Function independently.
