We are looking for a Bio-chromatography/Chromatography Sales Specialists for the Eastern US region to consultatively work with our downstream process engineering customers to adopt NanoMicro technologies. If you have a passion for chromatography, we would love to hear from you.
The right candidate will be a key contributor and founding member of NanoMicro Technologies’ expansion in the North American market with substantial opportunity for career growth.
What you’ll do
- Provide customers with all necessary information to introduce NanoMicro’s portfolio of mono-disperse chromatography resins.
- Maintain effective communication with the full range of customers, including, bench scientists, group leaders, managers, decision makers, Distributors, and supply chain management.
- Act as key source of product recommendations to customers seeking to optimize downstream recovery operations by increasing yield, purity, and efficiency.
- Identify new project opportunities for NanoMicro products and provide direction to NanoMicro R&D for unmet customer needs.
- Organize and co-ordinate high-level customer teleconferences and Zoom/Teams meetings with NanoMicro senior customer advocates.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing defined related results.
- Accountable for performance of area sales goals.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with the top accounts in the region through personal contact on a regular basis.
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention through education, process trouble-shooting and continued optimization of customer processes.
- Provide competitive product/market reports and regular feedback on customer needs and satisfaction to internal stakeholders
Who you are
- BS Degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry) or Engineering
- Good understanding and knowledge of the Biopharmaceutical /Biotech Industry and a strong, working knowledge of chromatography.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in sales.
- Solid problem-solving skills - ability to resolve complex problems, communicate issues and propose solutions to both external customers and internal team members.
- Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
- Willingness to travel within geographic region as well as to periodic nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows
