What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny position at Nanny Heroes Agency?
Active Bernardsville Family seeking an education-focused Nanny for G9.5, B7, and B4. Care is needed from ~1/2:30-8:30PM Monday through Friday beginning January 5th, 2026.
Responsibilities:
-Daily care needs for the children
-Homework assistance
-Transportation from school/activities
- Keeping kids engaged via activities, crafts, games, etc.
-General organization of children’s areas/items
Schedule: Monday-Friday ~2:30-8:30PM, family can expand hours for the right fit
-All children are in school 5 days/week
-Activities will vary based on the season
Family/Household Notes:
-Family has two small friendly dogs (~13 & 22 lbs)
Ideal Candidate:
- Creative, active, reliable, high-energy, engaging, proactive, organized, positive, fair, and firm when needed
-Education background/able to assist with current and future grade level homework
-Encourages getting outside, staying active, and avoiding screen-time
-Practices good judgement and has a strong moral compass, reinforces manners and kindness
-Strong communicator and self-starter
Compensation:
- Commensurate with experience ~$35/hr
- Industry standard benefits (Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holidays off)
Requirements:
- 3 years of childcare experience
- Eligible to work in the US
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record and criminal background
- Fluent English
- CPR/First Aid Certified
