About the Family
This warm, thoughtful family follows a child-led, Montessori-inspired approach within a calm, gentle, and structured home environment. Their 18-month-old daughter thrives on a consistent schedule, independent play, soft background music, and clear, age-appropriate guidance that emphasizes understanding, safety, and empathy.
Kindness, integrity, respect, empathy, and positivity are core family values. They view their nanny as a true extension of the family, prioritizing strong communication, consistency, reliability, and punctuality—especially for smooth morning transitions. Maintaining a quiet, calm energy in the home is very important, particularly with another baby joining the family soon.
Their daughter has severe food allergies, making food preparation a key part of the role. All meals are prepared at home, and comfort with EpiPens and infant/toddler CPR is required. The family also maintains a strict no-shoes policy, no-kissing rule, emphasizes hygiene and organization, and requests full privacy with no photos shared online.
Their Ideal Match
The ideal nanny is kind, gentle, nurturing, and emotionally attuned, with proven experience caring for toddlers—especially around the 18-month developmental stage. This individual is calm, reliable, professional, and a strong communicator who is comfortable following structure, collaborating with parents, and supporting consistency in expectations.
They will enjoy creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, respect the family’s routines and boundaries, and approach the role with positivity, maturity, and empathy—particularly as they support the family during the postpartum period. The ideal candidate is also flexible and comfortable with a temporary fluctuation in hours (approximately 30 hours vs regular 40 hours per week) over the summer while mom is on maternity leave, with the expectation of returning to a consistent schedule thereafter.
