Description: A thoughtful & welcoming family in Scarsdale is seeking a professional career nanny to join their home as Mom returns to work. This is a primarily infant-focused role caring for a sweet 4-month-old while also supporting her happy 2-year-old sister, with a calm, respectful family seeking a warm, knowledgeable nanny for the long term.

The Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

• 40 hours guaranteed

The family has two daughters:

• A sweet 4-month-old infant girl

• A happy 2-year-old big sister who recently started a preschool 2's program 3 mornings per week

The Family:

A thoughtful & welcoming family in Scarsdale is seeking a professional nanny to join their home as Mom returns to work. Mom currently works from home and will transition to a hybrid schedule in the new year, while Dad primarily works in the office. The family describes themselves as calm, introverted, and respectful, and they would love a nanny who naturally matches that energy. There are no pets in the home.

The Role:

This is a primarily infant-focused role supporting all aspects of care, including bottle preparation & feeding, sterilizing bottles, maintaining sleep schedules, weaning when the time comes, tracking developmental milestones, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for 2 children under the age of 5.

A driver's license is appreciated but not required, and the family's home is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. Mom is around and available to drive should that be needed.

The Travel:

You:

The ideal candidate is calm, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about infant care. Recent hands-on experience caring for infants under 6 months of age within the last 3 years is an absolute requirement and one of the family's highest priorities.

Candidates should be confident with:

• Properly holding, carrying, and supporting young infants

• Bottle feeding and following feeding schedules

• Sterilizing bottles, nipples, and infant feeding equipment

• Establishing and maintaining age-appropriate routines, including naps

• Supporting developmental milestones and safe sleep practices

• Working collaboratively with work-from-home parents

• Child-related meal prep laundry

• Tidying & organizing child spaces and belongings

The family is looking for a career nanny who brings warmth, professionalism, excellent judgment, and a strong understanding of infant development. If you drive, there is an opportunity to drive to playdates/activities and outings for one or both of the girls.

You are also fully vaccinated with annual flu shots, Tdap, MMR, and others relevant to your health circumstances, as well as an active or recently renewed infant CPR certification.

Pay & Benefits:

• $45/hour, on the books

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
