Job Summary
Immediate Need for Dental Assistant: This is a conservative, traditional Patient Focused Periodontics Specialty practice. If you are a mature, reliable, caring Dental Assistant come join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide excellence in care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures, including surgery, and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Dental Assistant,, or other applicable medical experience. Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan

- Take vital signs and accurately record medical history-

• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures, maintain materials and supplies
• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
• Maintain rooms and office

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies- Schedule appointments

Qualifications

• Computer and data entry skills beneficial, or willingness to learn and help in our conversion to electronic health records
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
