Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with their needs throughout their visit.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage seating arrangements and reservations using the TOAST POS system.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth guest flow and service.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Support food service operations by assisting in various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with TOAST or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for guest services and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
