What You'll Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment response
- Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and adjust medications within scope of practice
- Monitor patient progress and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the treatment team
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning
- Provide patient and family education when appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Provide compassionate, trauma-informed, patient-centered care
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Current Georgia APRN license or eligibility to obtain/maintain Georgia licensure
- Active RN license
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management experience preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, inpatient, residential, PHP/IOP, outpatient, or similar settings preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
- Flexible scheduling based on provider availability and program needs
- Compensation is negotiable based on experience, credentials, availability, and scope of practice
