What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients throughout the overnight shift
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient condition
- Obtain and document vital signs and other clinical observations
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patients for changes in medical or behavioral status
- Respond appropriately to medical and psychiatric concerns or emergencies
- Communicate significant changes in condition to the appropriate provider and clinical leadership
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment
- Collaborate with BHTs, therapists, providers, and other members of the treatment team
- Complete shift-to-shift communication and handoff
- Follow all applicable nursing, safety, and organizational policies
- Active Georgia RN license or compact RN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Behavioral health, psychiatric, substance use, residential, PHP/IOP, or acute care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and medication administration skills
- Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to changes in patient condition
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the larger clinical team
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts
