This program will provide highly structured, multidisciplinary care, supporting both medical stabilization and long-term recovery.

Position Overview
The Part-Time Group Therapist provides structured group therapy and clinically indicated individual and family sessions within a residential treatment environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, initiative, and the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations while supporting adolescents through complex eating disorder recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily psychoeducational and process-oriented group therapy sessions
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions as clinically indicated
- Assess client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary
- Monitor and document client behavior, participation, and treatment progress
- Report significant clinical incidents to the Clinical Director and leadership team
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to support integrated care
- Uphold the mission, vision, and clinical standards of Southern Live Oak Wellness
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Licensed or license-eligible in Georgia (LPC, LAPC, LMSW, or LCSW)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
- At least 1 year of group therapy facilitation experience
- Experience working with high-acuity populations preferred
- Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills
- CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Compensation: $30 – $35 hourly (based on licensure and experience)
