JOB OVERVIEW:
This role will report to the Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance and will maintain, install and service electronic components of industrial machinery and buildings as part of a highly skilled Facilities and General Maintenance team. This team maintains several manufacturing facilities within a 500 Acre campus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously drives a culture focused on Safety
- Installs and troubleshoots and maintains wiring, conduit, power panels, transformers, motors and motor controls in both single and three phase environments
- Repairs and services company electrical equipment including breaker panels, motor controls, motors lighting fixtures and other electrical devices
- Interacts with other trades and disciplines to provide power and controls for production equipment utilizing hydraulics, pneumatics or electronic equipment
- Conducts testing and repair of Grounding, Lightening Protection for equipment and buildings
- Ensure Work Orders are completed and documented to standard in the CMMS system
- Partners with the Equipment maintenance group and others to maintain a system of spare parts within CMMS
- Creates scope, cost and time estimates for facilities projects as they relate to the electrician trade.
- Provides oversight of contractors
- Complies to all Facilities and Maintenance policies and procedures.
- Evaluates contract proposals for facility and equipment as they relate to the electrician trade
- May be required to respond to 24-hour emergency calls
- May be required to work outside of the normal NDS 4-10 schedule
- Follow standard practices and safety procedures.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 6 years of related experience
- Ability to obtain approval through BATF for access to work at all plant locations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects at the same time.
- Good judgement and able to set priorities aligned with business needs.
- Professional level communication skills, both written and verbal
- General understanding of National Electrical code including but not limited to NFPA 70E and how it applies to both hazardous and non-hazardous locations, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret facility and building blueprints.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
