ABOUT THIS POSITION:
Namify LLC, a leading branding company and multi-channel distributor of branded promotional products, is looking for a Purchasing Specialist. The Purchasing Agent acting under the Operations Manager ensures that supplies and outsourced products are purchased and fulfilled to meet customer requirements. You will enjoy the excitement of a growing established industry leader, and achieve satisfaction by being able to immediately contribute to the success of the team while gaining valuable domestic and international purchasing experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop vendor relationships.
- Responsible for daily purchasing and fulfillment including: expediting, negotiations, obtaining hard cost savings, reporting and special projects.
- Ensures purchasing-related reports reflect current and accurate dates and information.
- Ensures vendors adhere to quality standards, committed delivery schedule and contract terms.
- Supports internal customers by facilitating accurate and favorable transactions.
- Analyzes purchase history of goods and services.
- Negotiates offers with vendors.
- Assist with occasional piecework/processing jobs as needed.

SCHEDULE
- 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday (Full-time)
Requirements
Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States
Must perform Pre-Employment drug test
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Keen attention to detail and must be able to stay on task.
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Ability to plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in related fields or equivalent preferred.
- High level of personal integrity and reliability.
- Basic computer skills and ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
- Proficient with Google Suite applications.
- Ability to work with people in a courteous and professional manner.
- Strong work ethic and an ability to pick up processes and new tasks quickly is a must.
- Must be able to work in a sitting position, at a desk, for 7 hours a day.
- Must be able to occasionally lift boxes weighing 25 pounds.
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO:
- Purchasing Manager
SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (Full-time)
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
SAFETY:
Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment. Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
