Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-shift lead with overall responsibility for directing guard functions and maintaining operational control.
- Assist in planning efficient methods and procedures to accomplish assigned security functions under varying and fluctuating workloads.
- Provide on-shift guidance, advice, and instruction to guards on new or improved methods and procedures.
- Respond to alarms and security incidents; coordinate immediate actions and notifications per established protocols.
- Conduct roving patrols and inspections; help deter and detect fire, theft, damage, violence, sabotage, and espionage.
- Control access to the facility during non-duty hours, after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Operate radios and communication equipment to send/receive clear, accurate information.
- Prepare clear and accurate log entries and incident reports as required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military service, or security guard duties.
