Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Foreman to lead our night shift operations in Calvin, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coal mining production, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage and motivate a team while ensuring production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate night shift coal production activities.
• Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a strong focus on production targets and safety.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of surface mining equipment.
• Provide leadership, training, and support to crew members to promote a safe and productive work environment.
• Monitor equipment and personnel to ensure efficient and safe production processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Foreman in coal mining.
• Valid Surface Miners card is required.
• Strong knowledge of coal mining production processes and safety standards.
• Ability to float between different teams and tasks as operational needs dictate.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while meeting production goals.

Work Schedule

This position is for the night shift. Flexibility to float between assignments is essential.
