Night Shift Fill Dozier Operator - Surface Coal Mine

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Night Shift Fill Dozier Operator to join our surface coal mining team. The ideal candidate will operate a bulldozer to fill and grade areas within the mine site, ensuring safe and efficient operations during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate fill dozer equipment to move, spread, and grade soil, rock, and other materials in designated areas of the surface coal mine.
• Perform fill and compaction tasks to support mining operations and reclamation efforts.
• Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work activities and report any issues or hazards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage during the shift.
• Adapt to changing site conditions and priorities during night shift operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience operating bulldozers or similar heavy equipment, preferably in a surface coal mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of fill and grading techniques, soil compaction, and earthmoving operations.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with mining site safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery in outdoor conditions.
