Nakupuna Consulting is seeking an AbInitio Developer to join our work supporting the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). The Developer's key responsibility will be providing team status in various projects, escalate issues as needed, assess and communicate risks to the development schedule and project to represent the Data Integration Development team's interests in cross-functional project teams and ensure project success.

- Collaborate throughout the organization on effective identification of technical issues
- Code management and development for Extract, Transform, & Load (ETL) routines
- Providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs
- Collaboration with multiple technology teams, multiple product partners, and marketing operations teams
- Partnership with a third-party vendors to ensure a holistic, fully integrated technical solution development into systems
- Analysis of highly complex business requirements, designs and/or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors
- Mentor junior Ab Initio developers
- Provides input Standards and Best practices for test data management to help functional and regression testing
Skills and Requirements:
- Works with other team members, including DBA's, ETL developers, Technical Architects, QA & Business Analysts
- Ensure solution reuse
- Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement Ab Initio Graphs utilizing the GDE environment
- A good understanding of replication and parallel streaming technologies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design and delivery of ETL process development using Abinitio, Unix shell script
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, Teradata databases and large data sets
- Experience in writing Technical, Functional documentation
Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in a Computer Software or Engineering major or 2 or more years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC preferred
Skills/Qualifications: SQL knowledge required. Strong communication skills required. Certifications in SAFe for Teams and Security preferred.
Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000.00 to $170,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
