About the Role
We’re a fast-growing direct-to-consumer fashion brand looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to help scale our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, e-commerce environment and wants real ownership over the close, reporting, and inventory accounting.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Own inventory and COGS accounting, including reserves and landed costs
- Reconcile e-commerce revenue, payment processors, and bank accounts
- Manage revenue recognition for DTC sales, returns, discounts, and gift cards
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising
- Support sales tax and indirect tax compliance with third-party providers
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Support audits and ad hoc financial projects as the business grows
- Light AP and AR duties
What We are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
- 4–7 years of accounting experience, ideally in DTC, e-commerce, retail, or consumer products
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close
- Proven experience with inventory accounting and COGS
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and e-commerce platforms (Apparel Magic, Full Circle, QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator who collaborates well across teams
