We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations as we continue to grow.Position OverviewThe Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly closes, and ensuring day-to-day accounting functions are handled with accuracy and consistency. This role is ideal for someone with QuickBooks Desktop expertise and experience in retail and/or jewelry accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile books using QuickBooks DesktopPerform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsRecord sales, returns, and inventory-related transactionsReconcile merchant processing and POS reportsAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivableSupport monthly and year-end close processesPrepare financial reports as requested by managementCoordinate with external CPA and payroll providers as neededMaintain organized and audit-ready financial recordsRequired QualificationsStrong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (required)Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experienceExperience with retail accounting strongly preferredJewelry industry experience a plusHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to handle confidential financial information with discretionSchedule & CompensationPart-time to start: 24–30 hours per weekFlexible scheduling within business needs$30–$35 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover note highlighting:Your QuickBooks Desktop experienceRelevant retail or jewelry accounting background
