OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Nadeau – Furniture with a Soul is seeking a dependable and highly organized Operations Assistant to support the daily operational needs of our stores and leadership team. This is a fully remote position and is open to candidates located anywhere within the United States.

This role is best suited for a self-starter who can jump in, solve problems, stay organized, and work with minimal direction. The position involves frequent communication, follow-up, vendor coordination, and tracking open issues through completion.

What you will do

• Assist stores with operational issues involving plumbing, HVAC, lighting, internet, phones, utilities, fixtures, and general repairs
• Communicate with store managers, vendors, landlords, employees, and leadership
• Research vendors, obtain quotes, schedule services, and follow up on outstanding work
• Track repairs, projects, company equipment, and open operational requests
• Provide basic troubleshooting support for store technology and equipment
• Assist with store openings, closings, signage, construction, and special projects
• Coordinate company travel arrangements as needed
• Maintain digital files, leases, vendor records, and operational documents
• Provide general administrative and operational support as assigned

What we are looking for

• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly
• Comfortable making calls and following up consistently
• Resourceful problem-solver with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Previous experience in administration, operations, facilities, retail, or vendor coordination is preferred
