Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Chiropractic Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong clerical skills, proficiency in phone systems, and familiarity with medical office management practices. The Chiropractic Receptionist will help maintain a welcoming environment and ensure the smooth operation of our chiropractic office.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the front desk.
- Manage phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Utilize Chirotouch software for patient management, including scheduling and billing processes.
- Process patient information, including insurance verification and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes.
- Collect payments from patients for services, products, copays, etc.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized office supplies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and address any administrative needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and inquiries promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar clerical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and basic office equipment.
- Familiarity with Chirotouch software is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is advantageous for billing accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing records accurately.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality is required.
- Ability to type efficiently for data entry tasks.
