🚨 We’re Hiring: Operations Assistant (Bilingual Japanese/English) 🚨
We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has strong communication skills across international teams.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll play a key role in supporting purchasing, supplier coordination, and data management, while working closely with our parent company in Japan and global partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders with our parent company in Japan
- Communicate on orders, shipments, negotiations, and inquiries
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate orders with Japanese suppliers
- Maintain pricing files and ensure data accuracy
- Update and manage CMS/database information
- Ensure part numbers and pricing on the website are accurate
- Support catalog and marketing material updates
- Translate business documents and technical manuals (Japanese ↔ English)
- Collaborate across teams including engineering, customer service, and Japanese staff
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in Japanese and English (required)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel required; advanced skills preferred)
- Experience with translation and strong written communication
- High attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
