A well-established law firm is seeking a qualified assistant bookkeeper to oversee and manage the firm’s financial operations. The successful candidate must possess proficiency in all aspects of bookkeeping and financial management. This position is in office only.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions
- Coordinate monthly client billing
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile Trust Accounts in strict compliance with state bar requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a law firm environment
- Proficiency with accounting software (Juris preferred)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
