EEG Technologist – Direct Hire | Bismarck, ND

Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Department: Neuro diagnostics

Position Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Hours: 40 hours/week

Target Start Date: September 8, 2026

Salary: $22.50–$36.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 with a 3-year commitment

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized electroencephalography (EEG) procedures.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures while following established safety protocols.
• Perform inpatient EEGs, ICU long-term monitoring, and neonatal EEGs.
• Monitor and document test results and prepare reports for physicians.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain EEG equipment.
• Identify equipment issues and report malfunctions appropriately.
• Follow proper data collection, analysis, and documentation procedures.
• Maintain equipment and inventory levels within the department.
• Explain safety and sterilization procedures related to medical equipment.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for EEG services.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in neurodiagnostics.
• BLS certification required.
• One or more of the following credentials required:
• Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT)
• Registered Evoked Potentials Technologist (REPT)
• Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT)

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• 8-hour day shifts
• Work hours generally fall between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Rotating EEG on-call schedule
• Work alongside a small team of EEG Technologists and a department supervisor
