What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Sanding and Refinishing Technician position at N-Hance of Redmond?
We are growing and looking for an individual to fill a part-time to full-time position sanding and refinishing wood flooring. This is year-round, consistent work. No experience necessary; we are willing and want to train you in this trade. Pay range is $20-$30 and hour depending on experience. Raises given quickly to someone with the right skills, attitude and work ethic!
As a Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Sanding and prepping flooring with various power tools. Including- edgers, palm sanders, hand scrapers and buffers
- Transporting equipment to and from jobsites
- Installing flooring
- Maintaining and cleaning tools
- Applying fillers and finishes
To qualify for this position you must:
- Previous woodworking a plus
- High attention to detail
- Have a valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle
- Have clean driving record, within the past three years
- Have a willingness to take something old and make it look brand new again
- Be available for scheduled work Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-5pm
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to work multiple locations
