Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Floor Attendant to join our team at a waste and recycling facility in Bend. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist the public in navigating disposal and recycling processes, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with proper disposal and recycling procedures
- Provide accurate information regarding facility policies, procedures, fees, and recycling guidelines
- Enforce site rules and ensure compliance with safety and operational policies
- Direct customer traffic to ensure safe and efficient site operations
- Maintain a clean and orderly worksite, including disposal areas
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and DMV check.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in waste management or a similar customer service role
- Basic knowledge of recycling and environmental practices
