What does a CNC Machine Operator do for N.E.T. & Die?
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play an important role in producing precision components that meet our customers' quality and delivery expectations. Responsibilities include:
● Operate CNC cylindrical grinding equipment, manual honing machines, balancing equipment, and hydraulic pressing.
● Perform grinding, honing, deburring, balancing, and other secondary operations.
● Assist with the operation of CNC mills and lathes as needed.
● Follow part travelers, work instructions, and quality requirements.
● Inspect parts to ensure they meet print specifications and quality standards.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
● Work closely with team members to meet production schedules while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Required Qualifications
● Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience
● Ability to read and interpret drawings.
● Strong shop math skills.
● High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
● Ability to follow written instructions, travelers, and quality procedures.
● Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
● Adaptable and willing to learn new equipment and processes.
● Ability to follow all safety procedures.
● Ability to work first shift.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
