Position Overview
We are looking for a high-caliber Creator Success Manager to join our team at MyyShop. In this role, you will serve as a strategic growth partner and trusted advisor for our top-tier creators. You will manage a portfolio of VIP creators who are already driving significant revenue ($100K /month on TikTok) and help them scale even further by unlocking new opportunities beyond platform deals. You will also help grow our creator communities across Discord and Lark.
This is a hybrid role that requires both deep empathy and commercial sharpness. You’ll act as an angel — supporting creators through their needs, sensitivities, and challenges — and a hunter — aggressively advocating for them and pitching high-value opportunities to brands and partners. You will also lead a small team of Creator Success Associates and collaborate closely with leadership to expand creator opportunities into keynote speaking, guest appearances, product launches, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- VIP Creator Management (~60% of role): Directly manage 5–10 high-value VIP creators with over $1M in historical TikTok sales. Build deep relationships, understand their goals and pain points, and create personalized growth strategies to increase their earnings and long-term success on the platform.
- Opportunity Development & Deal-Making: Pitch and secure brand deals, collaborations, and expanded opportunities for our VIP Creators. Target $5K in creator deals per month per VIP creator by Month 2.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop Creator Success Associates. Guide them in building and nurturing the broader MyyShop creator community.
- Community & Platform Growth (~40% of role): Host weekly Creator Office Hours for the general MyyShop creator community. Drive onboarding of new creators into the Partner Center and MyyShop Lark Creator Hub (target: 30 new creators by Month 2-3).
- Operations & Retention: Maintain strong creator retention (target: <30% churn rate for VIP creators by Month 3). Ensure all creator invoices and payments are processed within the first 5 days of every month.
- 1:1 Support & Reporting: Hold weekly 1-on-1 meetings with each VIP creator to review progress, pipeline, and strategy. Provide regular updates to leadership on creator performance and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 3 years working directly with creators on TikTok or
- 4 years working with talent in traditional Hollywood talent agencies or management firms. (A mix of both is ideal.)
- Proven ability to manage high-performing talent, navigate sensitivities with empathy, and drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong negotiation and pitching skills — experience closing brand deals and creating new revenue streams for creators.
- Excellent organizational and operational skills (invoicing, reporting, pipeline management).
- High emotional intelligence combined with a results-driven “hunter” mentality.
- Passion for the creator economy and deep understanding of TikTok dynamics.
Success Metrics (OKRs)
- Achieve $5K in new creator deals per month per VIP creator by Month 2.
- Maintain VIP creator churn rate below 30% by Month 3.
- Onboard 30 new creators to the Partner Center and MyyShop Lark Creator Hub by Month 3.
- Consistently deliver timely payments and high-quality weekly office hours 1:1s.
