POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Relations Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the college and its
healthcare partners. This role is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with
clinical sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and supporting campus
clinical coordinators in resolving issues promptly. The Clinical Relations Manager plays a critical role in
securing and renewing clinical agreements to ensure students have access to high-quality clinical
experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Development & Maintenance
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with healthcare partners.
• Negotiate and execute new clinical partner agreements.
• Manage timely renewal of existing clinical agreements.
Compliance & Communication
• Ensure all clinical agreements meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Communicate compliance updates and requirements to campus clinical coordinators.
• Maintain accurate records of agreements and compliance documentation.
Issue Resolution & Support
• Serve as the escalation point for clinical site issues.
• Coordinate with campus clinical coordinators to resolve routine and urgent issues within defined
timelines.
Reporting & Metrics
• Track and report Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance metrics.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on partnership status and compliance
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Healthcare Partnership Management
• Understanding of clinical site operations and healthcare organizational structures.
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare partners.
Regulatory and Compliance Expertise
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing and allied health clinical
education.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., ACEN, CCNE, BRN) and clinical contract
requirements.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external
partners.
• Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution to address partnership and compliance issues
effectively.
Organizational and Time Management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines for agreements and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in tracking and reporting SLA metrics and maintaining accurate documentation.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
• Capacity to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions.
• Ability to escalate and resolve urgent matters efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
Technical Proficiency
• Competence in using CRM systems, contract management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite

EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s
preferred) or certification related to the program in which the clinical expert will support.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical education, healthcare partnerships, or
academic liaison roles.
• Strong knowledge of nursing education standards and clinical compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Salary : $89,000 - $100,000
