MyUSA Credit Union is a $350 million financial institution with offices in Middletown (2), Trenton, Kettering (2), Moraine, Springfield and Vandalia.
We are seeking interested candidates for our Lending Operations Associate at our corporate branch in Middletown. The role is a back-office position, responsible for verifying the accuracy of member documentation from various areas of the Credit Union, including loans, accounts, and/or file maintenance changes. This position ensures member documentation is in accordance with internal policies and procedures, applicable Federal and State regulations while ensuring consistent and effective processes and application of MyUSA Values.
Responsibilities Include:
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process liens & titles per state regulations
- Title processing – applying & releasing liens
- Process complex lending operations documentation including titles and insurance
- Submits insurance claims for both debt protection and collateral evaluation
- Upload insurance policies and making CPI calls to insurance companies
- Review of loan file maintenance changes for accuracy and proper documentation
- Balancing savings bonds
- Process IRA withdrawals, contributions, and death claims
- Review and approve transactions, filings & RMD AFT & CFT
- Report results of audits, including missing or incomplete items, in an easy-to-understand manner to FSAs and Management
- May audit IRA filings and communicate with member service for documentation discrepancies
Qualifications Include:
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of file retrieval processes (paper & paperless)
- Ability to work with imaged files, documentation and reports
- Ability to use PC, computer applications (to include Microsoft Office products, internal processing and imaging systems), and general office equipment
- Proven skills with verification of documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent through a combination of experience and job training
- 2-4 years in a consumer-oriented financial institution a plus
- Working knowledge of Credit Unions and Lending Operations a plus
