We are seeking interested candidates for a Head Teller position at our corporate (Plaza) branch in Middletown.
The Head Teller is responsible for the management and oversight of tellers within the branch office to ensure a smooth and orderly operation. This position requires an enthusiastic, service driven individual who lives our core values daily. This individual will maintain an overall knowledge of our products and services to ensure we are providing the best in transformative service.
Essential Head Teller Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that deposits and pay out of member funds are processed in accordance with procedures and regulations
- Verify that member transactions are recorded accurately
- Responsible for balancing the daily operations of the branch
- Efficiently respond to member inquiries and requests
- Successfully sell or refer products and services to new and existing members through anticipating our members’ financial needs
Head Teller Qualifications include:
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent financial services industry experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the financial services industry in a teller / member service environment preferred, with above average teller skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to listen and communicate well with employees and members
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to give and accept instruction
- Possess team “attitude” and professionalism at all times
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate standard office machines needed to perform the role
