Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll in Rippling, including hours, PTO, deductions, garnishments
- Coordinate payroll tax filings and registrations with providers, reconcile payroll to the GL with finance
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
- Manage I-9/E-Verify employment verifications and personnel file compliance
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Coordinate background checks and pre-employment paperwork
- Track PTO, leave, and time-and attendance; ensure state wage compliance
- Maintain HR documentation, basic reporting
- Employee relations on pay, benefits, and policy
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3 years' of experience payroll and HR administration
- Hands-on multi-state payroll processing
- Prefer Rippling experience or other HRIS system
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organization skills
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
