Duties:
- Prepare monthly financial reports in compliance with deadlines, accounting policies, and internal control standards.
- Produce financial statements for multiple clients, each with unique reporting requirements.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and property managers while providing exceptional customer service.
- Apply advanced technical accounting skills to ensure appropriate accounting treatments and compliance.
- Manage cash flows to pay property expenses and accurately forecast funding needs.
- Record journal entries and accruals, reconcile income, and document prepaid rent within industry-specific accounting software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, plus the ability to learn company-specific systems
- Strong organization and follow-through – you're a self-starter who meets deadlines
- High attention to detail and a passion for doing things right the first time
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external partners
- 3–5 years of accounting or A/P experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (High School Diploma required)
