What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Monitor position at Myrtue Medical Center?
SCHEDULE: On-call; Nights and weekends; Schedule varies dependent on department needs
To provide supervision, guidance and assistance to Fitness Center participants; ensure the general appearance of the facility and equipment are clean and in good working order, and perform documentation and record keeping as required.
On the job training. Knowledge and use of exercise equipment preferred.
Cleans all equipment on an "as needed" basis and keeps the general appearance of the Fitness Center clean and neat. Ensures exercise equipment is in good working condition and notifies Coordinator of any apparent equipment malfunction. Is aware of proper equipment usage and operation including safety precautions and ensures that participants follow such usage and operation. Conducts basic health analyses for participants as needed.
