Myrick Recruiting, LLC has partnered with an established manufacturing company on a Market Development Specialist opportunity responsible for developing new accounts and managing accounts in the Architectural and Construction sectors. Will be responsible for Houston and surrounding markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and achieve Annual Territory Sales Plan which sets revenue, profitability and market growth targets.
- cold calling, presentation development, delivery, and closing deals.
- Partner with Operations to meet client's needs.
- Maintain accurate reports and database records of customer contacts/activities and transactions.
Requirements:
- 4 plus years business to business sales experience, preferably specific to the Architectural, Building Supplies, and Construction sectors
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience or an equivalent education and experience combination
- Time management and strong presentation skills
- Previous experience with estimating, blueprints, CAD helpful
- Previous experience with the transportation sector ideal
- Previous experience working from a home office or out in the field daily.
- Goal oriented, commission motivated, solid work ethic.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
