Myrick Recruiting, LLC has partnered with an established company for an Inside Sales Account Manager in Dayton, OH. This is an opportunity to join an established company offering a national initiative to restore the US Machine tools sector. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth within assigned accounts and territory through strategic account management, new business development, and consultative selling. Expand market share by strengthening customer relationships, identifying new applications, and positioning the company as a trusted partner in improving customer productivity, performance, and supply chain efficiency. The opening is for a book of business in the western territory, so ideal hours are 9-6 to accommodate customer needs.
Essential Functions
· Grow and manage assigned accounts by developing and executing strategic account plans to increase revenue, margin, and share of wallet.
· Drive profitable sales growth by expanding product penetration and introducing new solutions to meet customer needs.
· Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and territory penetration strategies.
· Use consultative, application-based selling to recommend solutions that improve productivity and reduce cost.
· Build strategic customer relationships across purchasing, operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership.
· Expand market and channel opportunities including distributor development and competitive conversions.
· Manage pipeline and sales cycle from lead generation through quoting, negotiation, and closing.
· Provide accurate forecasting and market intelligence to support territory planning and business decisions.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Care.
· Serve as Voice of Customer by providing market trends, competitive insights, and customer feedback.
· Support customer retention by proactively managing account performance and resolving issues.
· Maintain CRM accuracy including account activity, pipeline tracking, and forecasting.

Required Skills & Experience
· 1–3 years of sales, account support, or industrial sales experience preferred.
· Strong interest in sales, business development, and account growth.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Mechanical or technical aptitude with ability to learn product applications.
· Willingness to learn consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
· Ability to identify opportunities and support account growth initiatives.
· Strong organization and time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn CRM systems.

This position has a base plus commission!
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
