Genesee Lake School and Prader-Willi Homes, both MyPath Companies, are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance operations and ensure safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments for those we support and our team members. Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and organized Facilities Manager to lead daily maintenance operations, coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance, and manage facility-related projects. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, supporting departmental budgets, and planning for future equipment and facility needs, all while fostering a collaborative and solutions-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Supervise, support, and coordinate daily activities of Maintenance Assistants, Groundskeeper, and Project Manager Foster strong working relationships across departments to support operational needs Track and manage work orders and preventative maintenance schedules using WorxHub Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and follow up as needed Compliance & Safety Ensure all required inspections are completed and documented in accordance with State of Wisconsin and licensing requirements Coordinate inspections including fire systems, sprinklers, alarms, HVAC, elevators, boilers, and more Maintain organized records and ensure accessibility through SharePoint Promote a safe working environment and address safety concerns proactively Projects & Facilities Planning • Coordinate facility improvement projects such as remodels, upgrades, and repairs Gather estimates, organize project documentation, and collaborate with leadership on vendor selection Track equipment lifecycle and identify upcoming repair or replacement needs Assist in developing and managing operating and capital budgets Communication & Teamwork Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and residents. Partner with Program Management to develop creative, timely solutions for facility needs Participate in emergency on-call rotation as needed. Work collaboratively with the Facilities Manager and other departments to meet facility and maintenance needs. Schedule A full-time, salaried leadership role focused on overseeing facilities operations and maintenance services Primarily first-shift hours with required flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency calls. Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree preferred Minimum one year of supervisory experience required 3 years of facilities or maintenance experience preferred including: Carpentry, plumbing electrical, painting HVAC systems, boilers, and building equipment Groundskeeping, snow removal and landscaping Required Skills & Attributes Ability to maintain a calm and effective demeanor in emergency and stressful situations. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Ability to read and interpret manuals, instructions, and blueprints Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, in tight spaces, and outdoors Additional Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record.
