Primary Role

The Project Manager, Packaging & Distribution at Myonex is responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects utilizing cross functional teams to deliver against defined requirements and meet client objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for the management of scope, timelines, budget, quality, and resourcing for their assigned projects. Client relationship responsibilities include risk and issue identification and escalation management.

This role is hybrid (3 days a week onsite) at our Headquarters in Horsham, PA with working days of Monday - Friday at 8AM - 4:30PM.

Duties

  • Works with client companies to determine project requirements and develop appropriate supply strategies, project timelines, and project plans to meet the clients' project requirements.
  • Aligns with internal departments to successfully deliver client product requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinates with the client in the pre-project planning phase to define requirements. This includes organizing and managing an internal Kickoff meeting (KOMs), a client Kickoff meeting, creating protocol specific to the global project overview, and project timeline.
  • Analyzes client needs and requirements.
  • Verifies the quote in collaboration with the Proposals and Business Development teams.
  • Responsible for completing the intake form in the case of changes or additional activities by establishing amendment(s) to the quote.
  • Organizes and manages internal and client Kickoff Meetings (KOMs) following quote signature and handoff.
  • Ensures the implementation of the global project overview with the client covering all project activities by defining specifications and deliverables. Coordinates edits and internal updates by all departments.
  • Designs and maintains a project plan.
  • Ensures the internal implementation of the project.
  • Manages internal and external project stakeholders and actors.
  • Oversees the project while respecting quality, various contracts, costs, and deadlines: coordinates actors and activities, monitors task progress, tracks indicators, and makes decisions in agreement with the sponsor to, if necessary, adjust/modify the project.
  • Organizes and leads internal and client meetings.
  • Creates and maintains a governance and communication plan using Smartsheet.
  • Ensures internal and external communication related to the project.
  • Gathers internal and external feedback on the project as part of a continuous improvement process.
  • Initiates project invoicing by communicating the necessary information to accounting. Ensures accurate invoicing of client projects including procurement of products, services and any other additional project incurred costs, monthly.

Additional Duties:

  • Be involved with and lead process improvements or other internal Business Projects.
  • Assist with training new hires and junior colleagues, etc.
  • Any other duties and as required by line manager.

Backup Responsibilities

  • There is an official backup for each client.
  • Project Managers may be called upon to replace colleagues in the same role on other projects. Backup assignments are dependent on client accounts and business needs.

Education & Experience

  • A four (4) year degree in science, pharmaceutics, natural sciences, or a related field, OR a minimum of 4 years of experience within a pharmaceutical contract service organization (e.g., Clinical Research, Contract Packaging/Labeling, Logistics, Project Management, Clinical Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Business Development) is required.

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using warehouse or packaging management systems.
