As a Business Assistant ( Receptionist ) at the Reception Are, you are the first person that our patients see when they walk in and have one of the most ( if not the most ) important positions in a dental office. You will work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a dental office / same position
- Spanish Speaking
- Saturday availability (Some Saturdays)
- Available to stay until 6:45 pm if needed during the week & on Sat if working, until 3:30 pm
- Available to start at 8:20am ( We open at 9:00 am)
We Prefer:
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
- Cross Trained / some knowledge of the Clinical side.

- Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, as well as sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education to patients
- Knowledge of Account Ledger
- Insurance Breakdown
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Creating and Presenting treatment plans
- Checkout patients
- Charge patients for services
- Create claims
- Send claims
- Send Pre Authorizations
- Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping
- Adherence to HIPAA protocols
- Other duties associated with Business Assistants & Receptionists at a dental office.
- Partner with the providers and team to implement our systems and maximize office workflow
Salary : $21 - $26
