The M&A Vice President plays a central role in the execution of buy‑side and sell‑side transactions for middle‑market clients, typically ranging from $25M–$500M in enterprise value. This position combines financial analysis, deal process management, and direct client interaction. The Vice President drives transactions from initial pitch through closing.
On the sell-side, Kroll works with family and founder owned businesses, private equity backed companies and subsidiaries of larger corporations to advise them through the sale process. On the buy-side, we guide clients through acquisitions and investments by helping them to structure and negotiate transactions. Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of transactions in all stages, from initial client pitches to transaction closings
- Analyze and present financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision-makers in corporate finance transactions.
- Ensure quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail
- Mentor and develop staff - analysts and junior associates
- Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a reputable boutique or regional investment bank with demonstrable M&A execution experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- US Citizenship is required due to the unique nature of the work
- Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities
- Ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and projects
- Ability and willingness to work long hours and on weekends
- FINRA Series 79 & 63 certification (either current or able to obtain)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
- Ability to travel 50-80% of the time, for up to 12 months, is required
- Experience working with diverse teams
