Investigates cause of any differences to correct and improve backflush process.

Manages the process of transacting & storing material into the production floors cell stocking locations. Performs counts and adjustments when necessary to ensure inventory accuracy in the production floor cell stocking locations. Investigates cause of any differences to correct and improve backflush process.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
Safety
- Understands and follows plant safety and procedures
- Avoid or prevents hazardous conditions from developing
- Wears appropriate protective equipment as required, dresses and conducts self in a safe manner
- Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S
- Participates in plant safety objectives
- Communicates respectfully with all team members
- The production storekeeper indirectly contributes to production though defined inventory practices, (accurate & timely transactions, ensuring correct physical counts, and reconciliation)
- Receives, counts, stores production stock items (Backflushed stock) and recording data, manually and using computer
- Performs counts/audits of backflush locations
- Compares actual physical counts against book inventory, and performs necessary recounts
- After approval of adjustment, makes necessary entries into KBM system
- Investigates nature and cause of the discrepancy, recommends changes
- High School diploma/GED is required
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
- Prior inventory experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand various written instructions in English
- Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner
- Lift up to 40 Pounds
- Stand for long periods
- Good hand dexterity
- Strong math skills
