Position Summary: The Large Molecule Business is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role supports the end-to-end global P&L for the business, associated FP&A activities, and works closely with business partners to drive growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted business partner to members of the BU leadership team and build an environment to both support and challenge partners with sound financial mentorship and strategic insights
- Support the Annual Operating Plan process, Quarterly & Monthly Business Reviews and weekly forecasts in collaboration with the leadership team, Site GMs and Finance leads.
- Partner with colleagues within the BU, Division, and Group to drive both functional and business process improvements and productivity projects.
- Act as subject matter expert for key Thermo Fisher systems (Hyperion Planning, Workday, Workforce Planning, SAP) to help increase knowledge of team members across organization
- Prepare and present analysis for significant capital investments on adhoc basis.
- Develop analytical models and tools to drive growth initiatives and improve business decisions.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Demonstrates strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to synthesize and produce strategic analysis to bring financial transparency to business leadership and enable data-based decisions
- Excellent written communication skills, along with clear & concise verbal skills, are essential.
- Outstanding prioritization skills (ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time)
