The CNC Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC type or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY and is an on-site role.

The hourly range for this role is $34.39/hour - $35.43/hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The CNC Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC type or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY and is an on-site role.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions, upload new programs or alterations and supply set-up sheets, deburr parts, sharpen tool and set-up tooling.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering, troubleshoot potential machine problems and recommend solutions.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
- 18 months of related CNC Machine Operator experience.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum, 8 hours.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
