The Role
As an Account Executive, you'll prospect and develop new business through cold outreach and relationship building while growing your own book of business. You'll work across all freight modes, no restrictions on what you can sell, building shipping solutions tailored to each client's needs. Day to day, that means consistent outbound prospecting, negotiating rates and service terms with shippers and carriers, and working closely with our operations and carrier teams to deliver on what you sell. You'll learn when to lean into a deal and when to walk away from the wrong one, and you'll represent MFW's culture of honesty, hustle, and client-first thinking in every conversation.

- The ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities without dropping the ball
- High integrity, zero tolerance for cutting corners with clients or teammates
- A team-first mentality, even in a commission-driven environment
- Sales, freight brokerage, or transportation sales experience is a plus, but not required. Personality and drive matter more to us than a resume line.

New reps start with a commission ramp-up period so you're earning wins early, backed by a dedicated sales trainer and floor coach who work with new and veteran reps alike. Many of our top performers started out struggling and grew into it, that's the model, not the exception. As MFW continues to grow, we're building out new teams, which means new leadership and advancement opportunities for AEs who want them, though plenty of our best people are perfectly happy staying in the AE seat long-term. Either path works here.
